today at work after i helped khary go through approvals i had to vacuum the dust off of ancient student dissertations. i also have to vacuum more ancient student dissertations tomorrow. the only fun part about this is i am in a locked room hidden behind the science library and it makes me feel somewhat secretive and special and in on the joke.

khary is very interesting and sings in operas and is from baton rouge. he knows natchez! we chit chatted over piles of blackwell's invoices and red ink pads and one copy of women who make the world worse.

i fell in love with this book as it passed through my hands last week:



i am constantly falling in love with books. this career may be dangerous for me, i am awash in a sea of lovers.
