i got a graduate assistant job at the USC School Of Medicine's library. it pays almost twice as much as my student worker job at TCL and also comes with a tuition reduction. i'm going to try to work both of them, at least during the summer. it will only be 35 hours, but the med job is nights and weekends and TCL is days. i like my little tech services job despite its tiny pay. i did get a 50 cent raise last week.
adam's going to spend his summer with his friend scott in portland. i am going home may 17th-24th for daniel's graduation.
i don't know, there's so much i need to write down, but now i'm going to watch PBS or some show at the boy's bidding.

i am writing a 5 page essay on technical services two hours before it is due in class, but it is nothing. there are only two more weeks of the semester. two, three?
i got a haircut that was not the haircut i wanted and tried to make it better by giving myself bangs. they are the same bangs from when i was 5 years old. at first i did not like them and then i liked them and then i depressingly hated them and now i am accepting them. they are ok and i like them sometimes. adam calls me clara bow but says i look like a high pitched girl from the three stooges. actually it is a louise brooks haircut almost exactly except i do not have the wardrobe to make the most of it.

new addition
adam and i found her trapped under my house after she kept us up mewing all night. the neighbor kept her on the back porch and put up signs, but noone claimed her so i did. she is very sweet and very talkative and plays fetch with toy mousies and weighs seven pounds. seb is almost used to her; they're able to share the bed with us simultaneously which was a large step in kitty harmony. he likes to chase her and bat at her tail to assert his ten pounds of kitty dominance, but he has not hissed at or bitten her once.
