max lost an eye in a fight over
a girl. then max almost lost
another eye when he found a swarm
of bees who also found him. then
a year later max had a stroke and
had to learn to walk and balance
again. now max is silly and likes
to prance and bark. his only trick
is to turn circles round and round
for treats. max is basically just
happy to be here.
my parents got max when i moved out
for college. my dad jokes that they
call him "rachael" when i'm not around.
My puppy was recently ill and as a result sees the world a little sideways these days. Max, my heart goes out to you. Love the color tone of these photos, as well.
