I was looking for an earlier source to the quote, "Been down so long it looks like up to me..."was it original with Richard Farina... I'm surprised I never read the book or seen the movie... always thought the greatest period movie is A SMALL CIRCLE OF FRIENDS...from some of the books you read, I expected you to be older...thinking of CONFEDERACY OD DUNCES makes me smile... poor tortured soul...Martin
