when i went home for the holidays i made sure to raid my closet. i had a sneaking suspicion that there were some things in there i might enjoy dragging out again and i was right. i think i got these when i was in high school, some time in the 90's. they're super comfortable in spite of the fact that it seems my feet have gotten smaller over the years. i guess it's a little weird to see trends you took part in the first time swing back 'round, but at least i don't have to shell out the $$ for these on urban outfitters:
Yes! I've been super excited to be old because that means I had a pair of gun-metal Doc Marten's lurking in my closet from when I was fifteen years old (13 bloody years ago..). It is very weird to really witness things coming full circle for the first time in my life (I was too young in the 80's for that to really count...). Here's to ying yangs and chokers and clunky shoes.
